Only 22 years old, LESKY has already created his own soundscape fusing mellow Neo Soul keys, crisp drums and samples flipped beyond recognition. LESKY is a child of the Limewire era. He spent the last decade strolling through the world wide web producing his beats often with nothing more than a demolished laptop. His influences reach from A Tribe Called Quest
to Young Thug and he cringes when people label his music as Boom-Bap. LESKY does not want
to give you Dilla reinterpretations, nor trap tunes with stock drums, he just wants to give you some fresh sound for 2020 and beyond.

Even though LESKY is a young gun, he has been hustling on the fringes of the German beat scene already for a while now. Born and raised in Leipzig, he initially cracked Fruity Loops to produce some beats to rap over, back when he was 12 years old. As LESKY quickly developed a music taste beyond orthodox rap music, he gradually departed from 16 bars over chipmunk soul samples. Especially the then upcoming Low End Theory movement and genre bending artists like Hudson Mohawke or Flying Lotus, gave LESKY’s approach on music a new prospect. That was when he decided to pursue his lane as a producer.

You may know him from his first project that gained a broader recognition together with
his then neighbour, the Flemish beat maker and trumpeter Phlocalyst. Their EP “Serendipity” quickly became an insider tip and has gained 5 million streams on Spotify up to this day.
Since then LESKY has released singles on well-known labels like Dust Collectors and
Golden Ticket Tapes.

After spending most of his life in Leipzig, LESKY moved to Cologne in 2019 to link up with other producers and get his name out. Stay tuned!
